Kelty Designs is an open listing platform for the green industry — a marketplace of independent landscape designers, a directory of Material Partners, a Sponsor directory, and an AI Studio that helps you visualize ideas before a plan is drawn.
Every listing goes live immediately — no gatekeeping, no approval queue. Designers, partners, and sponsors publish their own pages so homeowners can find them on day one.
Three ways to use the site
Design, source, and visualize — in one place
Hire a designer, discover material partners, and generate concept imagery in the AI Studio to jump-start the conversation.
Designer Marketplace
Browse independent landscape designers and architects. Search by city, town, or region, then narrow by badge to find the exact fit.
- Area search — type any city, suburb, or state (e.g. Oak Park, Chicago, Illinois) and see designers who cover it.
- Service-type toggles — switch between In-Person Design, Installation, and Remote Design to match how you want to work. Toggles combine with the area search; tap again to clear.
- Design + Build badge — designers who draw the plan and then build it on-site, with service areas listed.
- Installations Only badge — builders who execute plans from any designer or architect, no design services included.
- Remote Design badge — designers who deliver plans anywhere in the world.
- Founding Member and Cleanups badges — stack additional filters to refine further.
Material Partners
A live directory of plant growers, paver manufacturers, stone yards, lighting brands, and more — the sourcing your designer will draw on.
- Search by company, product, or ZIP — pull up the right vendor in seconds.
- Every partner shows contact info, service area, and product lines up front.
AI Studio
Upload a photo and describe your dream yard. The AI Studio renders concept imagery — tuned to Chicago-region hardiness zones and a curated plant library — you can hand to a Marketplace designer as a starting point.
