Kelty Designs is an open directory of landscape designers, material partners, and sponsors — inspired by the craft and care of Kelty Lawn Care, a River Forest, Illinois local company.
The story starts with Kelty Lawn Care — a River Forest, Illinois local company with 40+ years of landscaping and hardscaping across River Forest, Oak Park, Forest Park, and the surrounding suburbs. Decade after decade, the same lesson came up on jobsites: great outdoor spaces start with good design, and good design starts with easy access to the people and materials that make it happen.
Kelty Designs was built by Three Green, LLC to open that door. Instead of gating landscape talent behind an application-and-approval process, we run an open listing platform where designers, material partners, and sponsors publish their own listings and go live immediately. The site becomes a working hub for the whole green industry — and homeowners get one place to find everyone in it.
Kelty Designs is three things working together:
- A Designer Marketplace. Independent landscape designers and architects publish their profiles, portfolios, and packages. Homeowners search by area — any city, suburb, or state — and use the service-type toggles (In-Person Design, Installation, Remote Design) to match how they want to work. Then narrow by badge: Installations (local build-out with service areas listed), Remote Design (plans delivered anywhere in the world), Founding Member, and Cleanups. Toggles and filters stack, so it's easy to find the exact fit.
- A Material Partner Directory. Plant growers, paver manufacturers, natural-stone yards, lighting brands, and more. Search by company, product, or ZIP code to pull up the right vendor in seconds — contact info, service area, and product lines are shown up front.
- An AI Design Studio. Upload a photo of your space and explore ideas before a designer ever steps on the property. Renders are tuned to Chicago-region hardiness zones and a curated plant library. AI Studio outputs are drafts only and should be reviewed by a designer from the Marketplace before you build. See how it works →
